Today’s Key Takeaways:  We had the opportunity to watch, live, the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and Alaska governor debates at the Alaska Oil & Gas Conference this week.  Links are provided below for each debate so that you may watch each in its entirety.

A quick recap of responses:

Thumbs Up:  Senator Murkowski, Kelly Tshibaka, Nick Begich, and Governor Dunleavy for opposing ALL of the ballot measures that were harmful to the oil, gas, and mining industries.

Thumbs Up:  Governor Dunleavy and Les Gara for acknowledging decisions they regretted as elected officials.

Thumbs Down:  Governor Walker for missing the perfect opportunity to acknowledge that his 2015 veto of tax credits put a chill on the investment climate in Alaska, kept many small Alaska businesses from being paid for their work and left a substantial debt for the state to pay.
